CLASS SUMMARY: The Art of Stage Makeup by Sabrina Rodriguez is an introductory, hands-on course designed for performers, technicians, and creatives seeking a strong foundation in theatrical makeup. This class explores the essential techniques to create expressive, stage-ready looks that read clearly under stage lighting and from a distance. Attendees will learn how to enhance natural features, build character through makeup, and adapt their designs for different face shapes. Through guided demonstrations and practical application, students will gain confidence in tools, hygiene practices, color theory, and basic corrective techniques. By the end of the course, each participant will complete a polished stage look suitable for auditions, performances, or portfolio development.

  • 3-hour classes from 9 AM - 12 PM

  • Open to students who are 12-18 years old

  • Makeup kit and photoshoot included

  • A maximum of 12 students in each class

  • 2-hour classes on Thursday evenings from 6-8 PM

  • Open to adults (18-year-olds must not be in high school)

  • Please feel free to bring your own makeup; basics can be provided for those who need it

  • Wine and beer will be available for purchase

  • Maximum of 10-12 adults per class

She has designed hair and makeup for screen, theatre, and theme parks, bringing high-impact looks built to withstand bright lights, long nights, and quick backstage changes. Her teaching style is hands-on, high-energy, and just a little bit magical. Sabrina doesn’t just teach makeup—she teaches you how to become the artist behind the brush. Whether you’re stepping on stage or stepping into a new skill, her classes are built to help you feel confident, creative, and completely in your element.
